This page explains what personal information Eng4All collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who is responsible

Eng4All is operated by Snea Thinsan, who is responsible for the personal information described on this page.

What we collect

  • Account details: your email address, and your name if you choose to give it.
  • Orders: what you bought, when, the amount and the payment method type. Billing details you enter at checkout are kept with the order.
  • Your library: which titles you own, your credit balance and credit history.
  • Technical data: cookies that keep you logged in, remember your cart and your currency, and basic visit statistics from WordPress.com.

What we do not collect

We never receive or store your full card or bank account number. WooPayments (Stripe), PayPal and Omise handle payment details under their own privacy policies.

Why we use it

  • To create your account and keep your purchased titles in My Library.
  • To process payments, send receipts and handle refunds.
  • To reply when you contact us.
  • To protect paid content, for example the email watermark on paid pages and checks for account sharing.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who else handles it

Our site runs on WordPress.com (Automattic), which hosts the data. Payment providers receive what they need to process your payment. We share information with others only when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and library for as long as your account is open, so you can keep reading what you bought. Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Your choices

You can see and change your details under My account. You can also ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete your account. Deleting your account removes your library and any unused credits. To make a request, please use our Contact page.

Children

Many of our readers are students. If you are under 18, please use paid features with a parent, guardian or teacher. Teachers and sponsors can give students credits so that students do not need to pay themselves.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and announce important changes by email.
